Neck Deep – The B Sides

Neck Deep recently released ‘The B sides’ to their latest album ‘The Peace and The Panic’ for the deluxe version of the studio album. ‘The B Sides’ were going to be on the album but weren’t as they didn’t meet the cut, as to why they didn’t we will never know but they are here now and we love them.

‘The Peace and The Panic’ was recorded in LA, California in 2017 and released in August. The singles off the album were ‘Motion Sickness’, ‘Happy Judgment day’, ‘Where Do We Go When We Go’ and their most successful single ‘In Bloom’ – all of which were absolute bangers.

Tenacious D – Don’t Blow it, Cage

The one and only Tenacious D released a new song this Black Friday ‘Don’t Blow It, Kage’. This song was produced by Jack White and he can be heard in the song trying to hire Kage in a bit their doing. It was also Record Store Day in America which was just another reason to release this hilariously brilliant track.

Well worth a listen, go and check it out for a good crack.

FEVA – We’re Not Defective

FEVA is an up and coming Dirty Rock band with immense energy in their music with Fuzzy guitars, harsh vocals and a thumping drum beat. It’s a blend somewhere healthily sat between Royal Blood and The White Stripes, if you like either, you will love these guys. We discovered them through the blog Fresh On The Net and are chuffed with our discovery. FEVA are based in Newcastle/Durham and are busy playing the northern hot spots. Now for a bit of history FEVA formed in 2017 and since then have put 8 tracks on Spotify and all are amazing so immediately stop what you are doing, and go listen!

HAZ – Dumb Fake Love

At just 19 – HAZ releases her debut single ‘Dumb Fake Love’. Having worked with producers for the past two years to turn her “skeletons of songs on a guitar” – “into souls of their own”; HAZ is now focused on unveiling her music to the world, with an EP to follow ‘Dumb Fake Love’.

Living and working in Peckham, you’ll find HAZ pulling pints in a local pub. “I know it sounds crazy, but it’s a source of inspiration to me. You work long hours, see interesting stuff happen, and have to constantly engage with new people. It’s actually taught me so much.”

Grace Ackerman – Down To The Wire

The new single ‘Down To The Wire’ dropped today and it’s another beautiful piece of music from the up and coming pop star Grace Ackerman.

We saw her perform at a Radio X showcase at The Groucho Club in London a couple of years back and have followed her closely since. It’s great to see her getting the consistent support from New Music Friday on Spotify, which is fully deserved. We are sure that big things await Grace as long as she keeps churning out these well constructed, hook-laden bangers.
